About the Naremburn Progress Association

The NPA was founded in 1901 and incorporated in 2004. We are a voluntary, not-for-profit, non-political, non-sectarian body of locals striving to “promote the welfare and advancement of the community in the Naremburn area”.

Public meetings are held every second month to discuss issues and share ideas relevant to the Naremburn Community. There have been changes to this schedule due to covid so please contact us for the latest meeting details. All members and residents are welcome. While we do provide an online option, given technology constraints we advise that you attend in person if you would like to raise or discuss a matter.

Our Purpose

According with our constitution our purpose is as follows.

“The Naremburn Progress Association is a not-for-profit community organisation.

The objectives of the Association are to promote the welfare and advancement of the Naremburn community, to preserve and improve the amenity and environment of the Naremburn District and nearby areas, to encourage a spirit of community and mutual help among all residents and to co- operate with other groups in pursuit of these objects.

Matters of business will always be pursued on a non-political and non-sectarian basis.”
