Over 2022 and 2023 Council have been consulting with the Naremburn community about the upgrade of the area outside Naremburn shops. The project has faced a number of delays however at a recent council meeting it was announced that the project would commence early in 2024 – the project is currently out to tender and awaiting final detailed design before works commence.
Update 5th February 2024
Council has informed the NPA President that tenders have been received for the Streetscape project and final selection of the contractor is imminent. It is envisaged that a meeting will occur with key stakeholders on the 22nd February to finalise staging. The project is due for completion by July 2024. Please come along to our meetings to ensure you keep up to date with the plans and provide any community feedback necessary.
